About Me
My name is Edel Kieran.
I graduated from Dublin City University in 2017 with an Honors Degree in Athletic Therapy and Training. In 2019, I completed Certificate in Strength and Conditioning from I.T Carlow. In 2020, I completed my mat pilates teacher training.
I am a committed and caring therapist who is dedicated to my work and to my clients. I have a passion for helping clients of all ages and from all walks of life. There is a common misconception that athletic therapists only work with people suffering from sporting injuries. We are, in fact, specifically qualified to assess and treat all musculoskeletal complaints (bone, muscle and joint).
I have worked with elite athletes with performance-based goals, elderly people who are recovering from, or preparing for, joint replacements and children that are suffering from growth injuries.

I have a particular interest in athletics and competed to a high level from a young age, into my early twenties. I believe that my experience as an athlete serves me as a therapist. It helps me to understand my clients goals, frustrations and their journey back to health!
